Held on Sat 26th July at The Montgomery Theatre, bang in the centre of Sheffield, The OptoPhonic Workshop will be nested within the city-wide Tramlines festival as a fringe event… With the streets heaving with attentive ears, the OptoPhonic Workshop is on a fishing-mission to engage fresh new brains in the world of sonic experimentation… we’ll be hooking and reeling in adventurous new listeners, as well as back trolling for suspended crappies (our dear established crowds).
As the inaugural festival of new Sheffield collective Peak Signal 2 Noise we are very proud to acknowledge funding from Arts Council England and support from our media partners The Wire magazine and Sheffield Live! Radio & TV
2-6pm… The Workshop is OPEN… free entry* Come and explore our workshops, installations, talks, films…. build an instrument, make some noise!
